Dispute is a reality television series where two people at odds put on the boxing gloves and get into the ring to settle things the old fashioned way. After each fight, the opponents try to find resolution in a sit down counseling session where they try to put an end to their conflicts once and for all.
Dispute tries to put an end to each and every feud that people bring into the boxing ring. Opposing contestants each share their side of the story from show beginning to end. On each episode, contestants arrive at "The Roc," a boxing gym located inside a warehouse in an industrial district on city limits in Rochester, New York.
Contestants train separately for three days in order to get ready for the bout. After preparing for the fight, opponents meet face to face at the official weigh-in. The next meeting is in the boxing ring at the main event where contestants battle it out wearing optional headgear and boxing gloves. After three rounds, it's time to sit down and talk things out.
Now look, we don't condone violent acts of aggression or fighting as a means of resolving problems. If you've got a problem with someone, try to talk it out. However, if you want to put the gloves on, throw a few punches and then talk things out, this is the ring, and this is the show.
